Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Services Manager covers 24‑hour administrative and clinical leadership according to the HCA Mission, Vision, and Values. This first‑line manager plans, coordinates, and manages elements such as scheduling, personnel, and other resources in order to provide the highest quality care with trained, professional, and competent staff in a safe and efficient manner.

Under the guidance of the Cardiovascular Services Director, the Cardiovascular Services Manager shares responsibilities with colleagues in the cardiovascular services department and supervises inpatient Clinical Nurse Coordinators and front‑facing staff in their day‑to‑day performance, ensuring that department goals and milestones are met.

This position may be eligible for a Sign‑On Bonus.

Responsibilities

The Cardiovascular Services Manager will manage daily operations by continually planning, managing, implementing, and evaluating operations/services to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. The manager will implement strategies and programs to incorporate evidence‑based tactics, technologies, and services to enhance the level of care. The manager will supervise the scheduling component for procedures in the cardiovascular services department and communicate with revenue services as well as billing and coding to support revenue integrity.

The manager will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other health‑care disciplines to assure efficient, cost‑effective patient care, and will partner with peers, leadership, and providers in maintaining the growth and success of the cardiovascular services department.

Qualifications
  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) designation.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical Cath Lab nursing experience in an acute care setting.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a full‑time Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management.
