University of Miami UHealth Hospital and Clinics - Nursing Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), UTower

3 x 12 hrs. Days, evenings, nights, weekends (depending on availability)

• Assists in patient care throughout nursing areas.
• Provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation to maximize their safety.
• Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.
• Implements patient care plan established by the RN to meet the patients' needs.
• Alerts appropriate RN team members as emergencies arise, or when changes in patient status are noted.

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited school of Certified Nursing Assistant.

Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license, BLS certification required.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
