The Nurse Manager Oncology will report to a Director of Oncology Nursing and collaborate closely with the Cancer Center’s administrative and physician leadership, leading a seasoned team of assistant managers, charge RNs, educators, and coordinators across medical oncology clinics, infusion services, and inpatient interfaces; this Nurse Manager Hematology Oncology role oversees day-to-day operations, staffing and scheduling, budgeting and resource stewardship, accreditation readiness, oncology infusion and chemotherapy safety standards, nurse competency and mentorship, throughput and capacity optimization, and experience-driven outcomes—supported by friendly nurses and a diverse, interdisciplinary team that includes oncology pharmacists, APPs, navigators, social work, case management, PT/OT, palliative care, and more.
