Description

The RN is a licensed professional who delivers patient-family-centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring the appropriate care for all age groups in the unit’s specific population. The RN demonstrates core competencies and behaviors: nursing process, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, flexibility, organizational skills, accountability and leadership.

Qualifications
  • Active Florida RN license required
  • Seven months of RN experience in Med/Surg or Oncology
  • Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
  • RNs hired with an Associate degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree
  • BLS, ACLS, ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy Card (15.25 CEU) required
  • Certification in area of practice preferred
