Travel Nurse Source  is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified CVOR RN in Plantation, Florida, 33324.

Shift: 06:45-17:15

Facility: HCA FLORIDA WESTSIDE HOSPITAL, 8201 W Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL 33324.

Unit: CVOR – 2 operating rooms, 2 beds. Staff: 2 RNs and 2 technicians per day shift; on‑call night shift. Patient ratio: 2:1.

Equipment:
Open heart instrumentation, TEE, Ultrasound, Meditech documentation system.

Call Requirements:
On‑call required approximately every other day and every other weekend.

Typical Procedures: CABG, MVR, AVR, pacemaker, laser lead extractions, thoracic procedures, endovascular procedures, standby for TVAR and mitral clips. Prefer experience in minimally invasive cardiac procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:
Provide lunch relief in varying service lines – vascular, robotics, general, ortho, neuro/spine, urology, podiatry, thoracic surgery, plastic surgery.

Core RN duties: assess, plan, implement and evaluate health care services for patients before, during and after surgical procedures; ensure sterile procedures, equipment and medications are available for the OR team; record progress and outcomes; ensure proper specimen handling; provide quality control and maintain patient safety.

Dress code:
Scrub color OR/CVOR; scrubs provided by facility.

Benefits: 36 guaranteed hours per week; contract 13 weeks; no additional benefits listed.
