Qualifications

• CPR certification
• Extensive experience with blood draws and EKGs
• Previous experience with psychiatric and substance abuse patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care to research participants in accordance with study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor participant health status, including vital signs, sample collection, medication administration, and comfort measures.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of assigned protocols to ensure accurate and complete study activities.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient transfers as needed.
• Administer investigational and concomitant medications as directed by the principal investigator.
• Document and report adverse events, changes in patient condition, and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
• Dispense study drugs per investigator delegation and ensure compliance with study requirements.
• Promote a safe environment, utilize de-escalation techniques, and adhere to established unit policies and procedures.
