Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care in collaboration with physicians to a selected group of patients. The ARNP is an advanced practice nurse, clinically expert in patient care, who can provide a high standard of care to all patients, following an established protocol with physicians. Responsibilities include medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, teaching, and mentoring new members of the health care team. The ARNP will perform patient assessments to include medical history and physical exam, develop appropriate plans of care, and directly manage patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
The ARNP works directly with staff, administration, patients, and families to ensure quality care across the continuum. The ARNP integrates evidence‑based practice and technological advances into scope of practice, participates in research data collection, quality improvement, discharge planning, and coordination of patient care within the area of practice. Estimated pay range: $72.00 per hour, depending on shift.
- Master’s.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support.
- 5 years acute care nursing experience.
- Required education is Master of Science Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP); preferred one.
- National Certification.
Minimum required experience: 5 years.
Location:
Miami, West Kendall Baptist Hospital.
Schedule:
Per Diem.
