Full Time Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Department at University of Miami

The Staff Nurse Registered Nurse evaluates, prescribes, coordinates, and delivers patient care, and guides patient and family teaching, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team following the nursing process and standards of care.

• Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver patient care.
• Guide patient and family teaching.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team using the nursing process and standards of care.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing;
  Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
• RNs with an Associate’s (ASN) degree must complete a BSN within two years.
• Valid Florida Registered Nurse License.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience; step-down services preferred.
