Salary: $16.00 - $18.00

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Qualifications
  • Certified by the state as a nurse’s aide, having completed required training and achieved a passing score of 85% or higher on the agency’s competency exam (state‑specific variations such as CHHA in CA/NJ, CGNA in MD).
  • CPR certification required for direct patient care in Georgia and Washington.
  • Maintained registration on the state aide registry with a clear record, eligible to provide care in homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals.
  • Possesses a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and state‑required auto insurance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, hands‑on care to hospice patients, including assistance with personal hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support, including lifting up to 200 lbs with assistance.
  • Support patients in their homes or care facilities through frequent movement and physical activity—walking, standing, reaching, and occasion driving—to ensure timely and dignified end‑of‑life care.
  • Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs, and assist with daily living activities while maintaining patient safety and dignity.
  • Perform work comfortably in home and facility environments, adapting to temperature changes, moderate noise, and standard healthcare exposures while upholding infection control and safety protocols.
