University of Miami - - Responsibilities:
Provide patient personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assist with showers;
Assist with meals and feeds patients, ambulate, turn, and position patients, and provide fresh water and nourishment between meals;
Administer enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, therapeutic and sitz baths, and apply restraints;
Performs sugar and acetone urine testing, specimen collection, and post-mortem care;
Reports patient conditions to the assigned nurse to ensure professional assessment
