Duration: 6+ Months (Potential for Extension) Pay Rate: $38.00/HR on W2
Schedule:
FT clinic hours, includes every other weekend.
This is a full time contingent position, 32-40 hours per week including every other weekend, and may require floating to other nearby locations. All Minute Clinic positions are safety sensitive.
Position SummaryAs a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will utilize advanced clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for patients. Your critical thinking and clinical knowledge will help support improved patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.
Required Qualifications- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
- Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems;
Epic experience preferred.
- Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
- Evaluate complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses.
- Apply advanced knowledge of vital sign monitoring to identify and record abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature.
- Perform routine assessments to monitor patient health and ensure overall well-being.
- Manage patient access to healthcare and connect individuals with community resources for medication administration, self-care techniques, and disease management.
- Conduct medication reviews to identify potential side effects and drug interactions.
- Develop and administer mental health assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood, behavior, and cognitive function.
- Accurately document patient medical history—including illnesses, medications, allergies, surgeries, and family history—using electronic health records.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked clinic environment at all times.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
- Do NOT submit candidates whose experience is primarily in Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Home Health, or LTAC, as these backgrounds may not align with the Minute Clinic environment.
- Experience with:

- Minimum of one (1) year of related healthcare experience.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Must possess a current, full, active, and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- License must be issued by a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
