Baptist Health - - Responsibilities:
Provide basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes and Baptist Health policy;
Perform delegated nursing activities such as wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, and discontinuing a Foley catheter;
Collaborate closely with the assigned RN to provide safe and high-quality patient-centered care;
Explain that certain activities require RN assessment and evaluation and cannot be delegated to unlicensed personnel
