Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel)

Miami, FL | Acute Care

Contract | Travel | Days | 4-Day Schedule | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

• Perform observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients in the Operating Room
• Function as both a scrub and circulator RN across all service lines including Joint Replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Plastic Surgery
• Maintain a 3:1 patient ratio within a 29-bed OR unit alongside a charge RN, additional RNs, surgical techs, and a clinical coordinator
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and proficient patient charting
• Participate in rotating weekend assignments and on-call requirements, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call shifts within each 4-week period

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute care Operating Room setting
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures, specifically knee and hip replacements
• Must be able to scrub and circulate across all service lines

• PALS certification
• CNOR certification
• Prior charge RN experience
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking ability, and excellent bedside manner
