Job Summary

At Nicklaus Children’s Health System our mission is to provide the best care to every child. Our Bridge Program is specifically designed to support RNs that HAVE worked, but only for a period of less than 6 months in a non-acute care setting (home health, school nursing, case management, etc.) and would be transitioning to the acute pediatric RN role. Standardized onboarding programs are best practice and have been proven to decrease turnover, decrease medication errors, increase engagement and strengthen nursing knowledge and skills which support quality patient care.

Nurses are given a thorough orientation through didactic curriculum, interactive online modules, simulation, and hands on training with their preceptors. The result is a gain of increased proficiency and clinical experience across multiple specialties. If selected for this position a commitment of approximately 2 years will be required.
