Job Description: Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Small Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established, AAHA-accredited hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a modern, purpose-built facility serving a loyal client base for over three decades. The hospital provides a wide variety of cases in general practice and preventive medicine while maintaining a strong commitment to patient comfort and client communication.
You'll be supported by an experienced clinical and nursing team, with access to advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment including digital radiography, a dedicated dental suite, and comprehensive laboratory services. The clinic also offers structured mentorship and professional growth for new graduates and encourages collaboration and ongoing education among all team members.
This clinic is a short drive from Miami
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to companion animals
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Performing diagnostics, wellness exams, and dental procedures
- Building lasting client relationships through clear and empathetic communication
- Contributing to continuous improvement in clinical protocols and standards
- Maintaining accurate medical records and compliance with best practices
- Participating in professional development and CE programs
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in Florida
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for clients and pets
