SHIFT:
3pm-11:30pm, most Sundays too – will be paid OT for Sunday / OT opportunities during the week too
Notes: MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREENCARD; will be required to pass color and near-vision exam
MUST HAVES- Inspection of small components like nuts, bolts, screws, gears, etc.
- Experience using quality inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, ring/pin gages, comparators, etc.
- Experience with QA inspection methods, including First Article Inspection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Familiarity with dimensional and visual inspections per design records and AQL levels.
- Ability to review and disposition certification documentation to meet
- AS9102 experience
This candidate will perform product conformance audits to requirements for aerospace parts. They will inspect incoming parts, verify that certifications are correct for outgoing orders, check parts for processing, and check special orders. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and experience in QA best practices.
Tasks
:
Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action. Under limited supervision, inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders verify that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, check special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc.
Provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team.
