Job DescriptionHEICO Component Repair Group is currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to perform Return to Service inspections on aircraft accessory components in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safety and compliance within our FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations. The ideal candidate will hold a current Airframe (A) license or have previously held a Repairman Certificate with relevant experience in component-level inspections.
Key Responsibilities- Perform final inspections and issue Return to Service authorizations for repaired and overhauled accessory components.
- Ensure all work performed complies with FAA regulations, company Repair Station and Quality Control Manual, Customer Requirements and CMMs.
- Review maintenance records, test data, and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct audits and inspections of work-in-progress, final assemblies and shop processes as required.
- Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections.
- Coordinate with technicians, production, and quality assurance staff to ensure timely delivery.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Must hold a valid Airframe (A) license or have prior experience as an FAA authorized Repairman in a Part 145 Repair station.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience inspecting aircraft components, preferably accessories such as pumps, valves, actuators, electrical components, etc.
- Strong knowledge of FAA part 145 regulations and AS9110 Quality Standards.
- High attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have basic computer skills.
