Covenant Aviation Security (CAS) is seeking a Training Coordinator to support security operations at Miami International Airport (MIA). This position will be responsible for coordinating, delivering, and monitoring all required training programs to ensure employees meet company, client, and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining training materials, facilitating instructor‑led training, overseeing on‑the‑job training activities, tracking employee training records, and ensuring all required certifications remain current.

In addition to training responsibilities, the Training Coordinator supports operational compliance by implementing the site's Quality Assurance Plan, conducting quality assurance audits and observations, monitoring adherence to post orders, standard operating procedures, TSA regulations, and client requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve employee performance, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. The Training Coordinator serves as a key resource to site leadership by promoting a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence.

Essential Functions Training
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and document all required training activities in accordance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, update, and distribute training materials to reflect changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and operational requirements.
  • Deliver instructor‑led classroom, practical, and on‑the‑job training to new and existing employees.
  • Coordinate training schedules and communicate with Operations, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure timely completion of all required training.
  • Maintain accurate training records and monitor employee certifications to ensure compliance with all recurring training requirements.
  • Remain current on TSA regulations, client requirements, company policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure training content remains accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain proficiency in all security post assignments, equipment, and post orders by routinely performing operational duties as needed.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding by ensuring all pre‑employment, orientation, and required training activities are completed successfully.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Implement and support the site's Quality Assurance Plan to ensure compliance with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop performance assessment schedules, conduct employee evaluations, and accurately document assessment results.
  • Conduct routine operational audits, observations, and compliance inspections to evaluate adherence to post orders, standard operating procedures, TSA regulations, and client requirements.
  • Provide immediate coaching, feedback, and recognition to employees based on quality assurance observations and performance assessments.
  • Manage the site's internal covert testing program, including scheduling, test administration, documentation, reporting, and trend analysis.
  • Analyze quality assurance findings, covert testing results, and assessments conducted by company leadership, airport authorities, and government agencies.
