Produce Specialist

Position Summary

Responsible for reworking produce being received into the warehouse, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and ensuring all food safety procedures and GMPs are followed.

• Inspect all incoming produce for defects.
• Exercise judgment when conducting audits to ensure all product meets our high standard of quality.
• Cull, trim, and repack produce to meet presentation and quality guidelines.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are practiced.
• Maintain all paperwork in an accurate, orderly fashion.
• Assist other departments as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of previous quality control experience with produce.
• Experience in a produce warehouse preferred.
• Works with the Quality Assurance Team to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are followed.
• Adheres to all company food safety policies, procedures, and trainings.
