Overview

The Quality Assurance Auditor supports GlobalX Airlines' Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) by executing a comprehensive audit and surveillance program in accordance with 14 CFR Part 121.373 and company policy as defined in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) Manual. Operating with functional independence from Technical Operations management, the auditor evaluates the performance and effectiveness of internal maintenance divisions, line stations, and external business partners — and ensures findings are documented, risk-assessed, and tracked to corrective action closure.

Overview

The Quality Assurance Auditor supports GlobalX Airlines' Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) by executing a comprehensive audit and surveillance program in accordance with 14 CFR Part 121.373 and company policy as defined in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) Manual. Operating with functional independence from Technical Operations management, the auditor evaluates the performance and effectiveness of internal maintenance divisions, line stations, and external business partners — and ensures findings are documented, risk-assessed, and tracked to corrective action closure.

Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Aeronautical Science, or related field preferred.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of auditing experience in a Part 121 Air Carrier, Part 145 Repair Station, or military/DoD aviation environment.
  • Working knowledge and practical application of CASS audit procedures under 14 CFR Part 121 including internal, external, and follow-up audits.
  • Prior experience with aircraft parts and materials handling, including receiving inspection, shelf-life, calibrated tooling, and traceability verification.
  • Familiarity with an audit tracking or Safety Management System database platform preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge
  • Thorough working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations governing air carrier maintenance operations.
  • Understanding of Required Inspection Item (RII) programs and audit obligations under Part 121 air carrier operations.
  • Familiarity with Operations Specifications, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Engineering Order/Authorization processes in an air carrier environment.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills; must be capable of producing clear, objective audit reports supported by evidence.
  • Ability to operate with functional independence, exercise professional judgment, and interface directly with department managers and senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems (TRAX preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent audit cycles.
  • Available for domestic overnight travel as required by the audit schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with C.A.S.E. (Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation) audit standards and vendor/supplier evaluation methodology.
  • Experience with IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) standards, audit checklists, or preparation.
  • Prior experience in a dedicated CASS auditor role at a Part 121 certificate holder.
  • Exposure to Airbus A320 family maintenance programs.
  • Root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plan (CAP) development experience.
  • Familiarity with Human Factors principles applied in aviation maintenance auditing.
Task Duties CAMP Audit Execution
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct internal and external audits covering:
    Line Stations, Fuel Farms, Fuel Into Plane (FIP) providers, Essential Maintenance Operations, Spec D facilities, and Repair Stations.
  • Perform work-in-progress, transaction, and system audits as directed by the Manager CASS / Manager QA, in accordance with the CASS risk-based audit plan.
