Job Summary

Manages participant recruitment and study assessment visits under the supervision of the PIs. Oversees the research assistants as they assemble and administer research protocols. Performs administrative tasks, supervise training of research assistants, setting up and participate in conducting child assessments (including Mullen, WWPSI, Mullen, ITSEA, MB-CDI), utilizing Tobii Eye Tracker for data collection, and oversee data management and coordinating data collection.

  • Coordinates all aspects of the research project pertaining to recruitment, compliance with project timeline and progress, compliance with NIH and FIU regulations, and outreach activities.
  • Supervises project staff and monitor project staff performance. Assist with administering assessments and oversight of data collection activities.
  • Compiles, processes, and analyzes data; records research procedures and results; files and maintains records; codes data for input for electronic data processing; inputs and retrieves data using computers.
  • Provides support in the day to day activities of the project
  • Ensures that staff is aware of grant protocols and is in accordance with grant timeline.
  • Assists the Principal Investigator in short and long-range resource planning for the project.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are related to the position.
  • Recruits participants (social media outreach and attending community events). Manages participant information across visits, updates datasets from all assessments, presents and distributes results of the research to parents. Interfaces with families in the community in English and Spanish.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.
