Job PurposeThe BOH Lead is responsible for daily kitchen operations and ensures guests receive a high‑quality food experience. Responsibilities include opening and closing the venue, verifying recipe adherence, and supporting management, staff and guest requests.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily culinary operations and deliver an outstanding food experience for Puttery guests.
- Follow culinary standards and training guidelines.
- Reward and express genuine appreciation for the team’s dedication.
- Escalate issues and complaints related to staff, guests, and the kitchen.
- Demonstrate skills for preparation, cooking, and serving safe and inspiring culinary items.
- Ensure all culinary products meet or exceed high standards.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, staff, and senior management.
- Contribute to a climate of appreciation and respect for all team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned and requested by the General Manager and the Executive Chef.
- Additional projects may be assigned to assist company leadership on major initiatives.
- Work extended hours as required and during busy periods.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Support the Executive Chef in kitchen operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Build strong relationships with staff in other areas of operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Supervise food preparation and ensure adherence to food hygiene regulations.
- Maintain and improve kitchen safety and sanitation.
- Demonstrated understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Prior experience in a leading kitchen position with an excellent record.
- Accuracy and speed in handling in‑the‑moment conditions with guest experience as priority.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, inventory management, and POS systems.
- Fast‑paced kitchen and entertainment environment with indoor and outdoor operations.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, heat from ovens, grills, and dishwashing areas.
- Work schedule includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular handling of hot items, sharp utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Must lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Requires focus, attention to detail, and adaptability in a busy, team‑oriented environment.
- Noise levels and guest activity may be high during peak service periods.
