The Logistics Coordinator (LC) supports GC Pro Account Managers by assisting with client payments and managing the order fulfillment process, including shipment tracking and delivery coordination. This role ensures that products and materials are delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with GC Pro and vendor standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all aspects of GC Pro orders from client payments to delivery of goods and services.
- Track purchase orders, shipping, and delivery details, ensuring all data is correctly logged in CRM or GC systems.
- Communicate proactively with Account Managers, vendors, store personnel, and clients to provide status updates and/or resolve delays or discrepancies.
- Verify pricing, quantities, and delivery information on all purchase and sales orders.
- Process “roll tickets” upon proof of delivery.
- Support GC Pro related store operations by locating and coordinating store-sourced stock, assisting with shipping and receiving, and collaborating with retail teams.
- Offer guidance on GC Pro processes and protocols related to order management and fulfillment.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or obsolete Y Code items for RMA opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, operations support, or order management—ideally within Guitar Center.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or POS systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners.
- Basic familiarity with pro audio, video, or musical instrument equipment a plus.
- Work is performed on‑site at a Guitar Center retail location.
- Sitting required approximately 80% of the time, standing and walking each about 10%.No heavy lifting is required.
- Travel is not required.
$21-25/hr depending on background and experience.
