Asset Protection Practitioner - Aventura

Summary

The Asset Protection Practitioner is responsible for protecting company assets by preventing theft and reducing loss within a retail store. This role works on the sales floor and collaborates with store leadership and operations to maintain a safe shopping environment. The practitioner conducts investigations, monitors surveillance, and enforces loss prevention policies.

• Monitor store activity through CCTV, floor patrols, and observation to deter theft and misconduct.
• Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and safety concerns and document findings accurately.
• Partner with store management and local law enforcement when necessary to resolve incidents.
• Conduct audits, inventory reviews, and prepare incident reports and related paperwork.
• Assist in training store staff on loss prevention procedures and safety protocols.

• 3+ years of related loss prevention, security, or retail experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong observational, reporting, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, respond quickly to incidents, and work flexible retail hours including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to pass a background check and comply with any required certifications or licensing.
