The Retail Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for driving and achieving retail sales and service results, managing budgets, and developing the assigned territories. The role involves building close relationships with key partners, developing and training teams, and overseeing recruitment, staff management, and budgeting.
Job responsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that Benefit delivers the highest level of customer service by coaching and developing the team.
- Promote a feel‑good, fun environment for clients, store personnel, and employees.
- Monitor Yelp and Google ratings to maintain an average above 4.0.
- Effectively plan and execute new product launches and corporate programs focused on retail results.
- Develop continuous strategies for retail sales growth, including creating and executing in‑store events.
- Identify Benefit rank and adjust strategies to increase rank and trend with or above the retail store environment and national NPD trends, with a thorough understanding of competition.
- Achieve company initiatives such as “A” Launches and Booster Strategy.
- Work in a fragrance‑filled environment.
- Employees will have physical contact with clients/customers.
- Successful completion of an E‑Verify check.
- Experience in retail sales and service (beauty industry and wholesale stores a plus) with strong customer service skills.
- Flexible and amenable to changes in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment; able to multi‑task amid shifting priorities.
- Experience with negotiation and influencing at all levels, communicating with Counter Managers, Sephora cast members, and Benefit team members including VPs, Regionals, and Headquarters.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays to meet business needs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must have proof of insurance, a current and valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
- Active Cosmetology or Aesthetician license in the work state preferred; if not licensed, must obtain certification within the first year of employment (company‑sponsored training provided).

The target salary range for this position is $68,000 – $85,000. The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as years of relevant experience, certifications or licenses held, legitimate non‑discriminatory business factors specific to the position, and the geographic location of the applicant. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus and is also eligible for the following benefits: comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans;
