Store Director - Aventura

Summary

The Store Director will lead the new boutique in Aventura Mall, driving sales performance and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires strategic leadership to set and execute store business plans, develop the team, and maintain high standards of client experience and visual presentation. The director will collaborate with corporate partners to optimize category performance, controls, and market approaches.

• Lead the sales team to achieve budget targets and monitor store KPIs.
• Develop and update annual and quarterly store strategies and business plans with the RVP and merchandising partners.
• Coach, hire, and manage direct reports; conduct performance reviews and oversee scheduling and payroll adherence.
• Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising guidelines and retail operational procedures, including loss prevention and inventory management.
• Spend the majority of time on the sales floor (approximately 70%) while managing administrative duties and contingency staffing plans.
• Build client development strategies and maintain relationships with mall management and external partners.

• At least ten years of experience in luxury retail or selling luxury items.
• Proven managerial ability to inspire, develop, and lead diverse teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and practical action‑planning skills.
• Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn store operation software; knowledge of local marketing and media is a plus.
