What You'll Do

• Cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry to company standards

• Prepare specialty items such as sausages, oven-ready products, and cured meats

• Merchandise and display products to maximize freshness and visual appeal

• Monitor product quality and minimize spoilage

• Provide knowledgeable, courteous customer service and assist with custom orders

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures guidelines

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Support and mentor Meat Cutter Trainees when assigned

• Complete opening and closing department duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, move, and carry products throughout your shift

• Reliable and team-oriented

• Previous butcher or meat cutter experience preferred

• Strong meat cutting skills, including breaking down sub-primal cuts

• Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking techniques

• Ability to assess product quality and freshness

Work Environment
This role involves working in refrigerated areas and on the sales floor. You'll be on your feet throughout your shift, handling fresh meat products and using cutting equipment in a dynamic environment.
