We are looking for a Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and support our brand culture.

Sales Associate Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and provide a tour of the retail space while sharing the culture, vision, and values of Gallery Dept.
  • Determine client needs and address any related concerns.
  • Respond to questions, improve engagement with merchandise and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Follow up with clients through callbacks.
  • Perform other reasonable job functions as assigned by an immediate supervisor and/or other management.
  • Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers.
  • Maintain an orderly appearance and layout throughout the sales floor.
  • Cross‑sell products to increase purchase amounts.
  • Capture complete client information in POS to track purchase history and develop client relationships.
  • Actively support store maintenance on the floor and back‑of‑house, including controls for product pulled for client, folding, steaming, and ensuring all items returned to respective zones.
  • Attend daily meetings with team and sales supervisor to discuss scheduled appointments, product needs, and highlighted items.
  • Maintain and apply company procedures and policies at all times.
  • Maintain appropriate physical and apparel appearance utilizing uniform standards approved by retail management.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Two years of retail sales experience, preferably within a luxury retail environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong team player, punctual, and excellent attendance record.
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate.
  • Strong professional and personable demeanor.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in leadership, management, and team building.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Self‑motivated and self‑starter, takes initiative to maintain productivity.
  • Numerical and analytical knowledge to properly manage cash.
  • Adept at assessing situations and making decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Compliance with security protocols.
  • Proficient in computer skills:
    Microsoft Office Suite, Mac, PC.
  • Familiar with POS terminals, tablets, phone.
  • Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must sign an NDA.
Physical Requirements
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time, physically mobile; can lift up to 20 pounds.
