Overview
$16.00 to $19.00 per hour (base hourly wage) plus commission. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate collaborates with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with transactions, including sales and loans. Associates work with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
The full-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per procedures.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; foster a positive customer experience.
- Complete required training and perform other duties as needed.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May assist customers externally or retrieve products stored in exterior areas.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math; cash handling experience preferred.
- Willing to work at multiple locations as needed and on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on personal gross profit. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
