Miami Children’s Museum is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and guest-focused Gift Shop Sales Clerk to bring joy, color, and unforgettable moments to our vibrant Gift Shop! If you love creating positive experiences, staying organized in a lively environment, and being part of a mission that inspires children to play, learn, and explore — this is the place for you!

As one of the first and last touchpoints for our guests, you’ll help families pick the perfect souvenirs, keep our shop looking amazing, and ensure every visitor leaves with a smile (and maybe a plushie or two ). Get ready to dive into a fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment where no two days ever feel the same!

• Greet every guest with warmth, energy, and genuine excitement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting guests with merchandise selection.
• Process purchases accurately using our ALTRU point-of-sale system.
• Support shipping/receiving, including unpacking, tagging, and organizing new merchandise.
• Maintain strong inventory controls and help keep stockrooms neat and efficient.
• Assist with creating eye-catching, playful merchandise displays that align with museum standards.
• Keep the Gift Shop clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout the day.
• Collaborate with your teammates to support overall museum operations and guest experience.
• Follow all museum policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned

• A friendly, dependable person with 2+ years of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• Someone who thrives in a family-friendly, fast-paced environment full of movement and excitement.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask with ease.
• A positive problem-solver who can handle guest questions and concerns professionally.
• Flexible availability — including weekends, holidays, and special events (it’s when the fun happens!).
