Job Description

The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. They will make the customer experience quick, easy and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they are looking for. Multiple roles are available in the Sales, Cashier, Stock, and Fulfillment departments.

• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
• Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Work with the team to keep the sale's floor runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner.

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customers' orders following quality, packing and shipping standards.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general support to the store, e.g., set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, and relocate store fixtures.

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds (Stock Support or Fulfillment role).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

$17.70 - $18.40 per hour. Pay offers are dependent on location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may differ in other locations.
