Position Summary:

The Kith - Treats Shift Supervisor assists the Shop Manager in planning and directing the day-to-day operations of the shop. They lead and supervise the team to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. The Shift Supervisor is also expected to maintain store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment. Customers’ needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.

All products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.

• Guides processes and completes work based on management direction for functional areas within the store.
• Acts as the Manager on Duty for assigned shifts.
• In the absence of the Shop Manager, communicates and partners with Retail Leadership to ensure complete alignment between the Retail and Treats teams.
• Ensures the consistency of operational processes and execution.
• Adheres to all Kith and Kith – Treats Policies and ensures compliance by all team members.
• Oversees and participates in the cleaning and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment.
• Assists the management team to achieve performance goals and execute standard operating procedures.
• Supports the store management to ensure work tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Executes initiatives designed to drive customer satisfaction and business efficiencies.
• Reads communications and interacts with store management to be knowledgeable of all current initiatives, priorities, and business metrics.
• Acts based upon the direction from the Shop Manager and collaborates effectively with employees.
• Guides work activities during the day, inclusive of before and after normal store operating hours, when a manager may not be present.
• Assists the restaurant’s management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations.
• Helps in auditing overall cleanliness and hygienic standards of store front, food prep, and storage areas to ensure compliance with any Food Safety Laws & Requirements.
• Assists in the execution of any in-store or off-site activations.

• Availability: Open & flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Must consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business needs require.
• Licenses / Certificates: Valid Food Handlers/Serv Safe license or equivalent is required.
• Experience: 1–2 years of management experience in a customer‑facing role; 1+ year of Food & Beverage experience.
• Skills & Abilities: Ability to perform business math; multitask; efficient communication; lift and move 30 lbs; perform standard retail tasks (bending, twisting, climbing ladders/step stools); stand and walk for prolonged periods.

• Personal Characteristics: Responsible & reliable, people‑person.
