Job Overview

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you will work in a fast‑paced environment assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting sales and stock operations. All roles – Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment – require teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to a welcoming customer experience.

• Ensure the sales floor stays runway ready, re‑merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers at the cashier with multiple transaction platforms, bag items, and provide a friendly experience.
• Create a smooth fitting‑room experience by greeting customers, sorting, and returning items to the floor.
• Maintain a clean, clutter‑free environment by organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
• Keep stock rooms organized, accurately ticketing and checking in merchandise.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset‑protection standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards and other store initiatives.
• Support receiving, unloading and stocking of new merchandise.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely fashion, maintaining quality standards.
• Ship orders adhering to packing and shipping guidelines.
• Scan, process and research merchandise shipments using inventory systems.
• Assist with special events, markdowns, fixture relocation, and general store support.

• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative and high ownership level.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive movement, bending, squatting, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching. Handle merchandise up to 10‑25 lbs routinely;
Stock & Fulfillment may require lifting up to 50 lbs.

$17.70 – $18.40 per hour (subject to location and experience).
