The E-Commerce Manager oversees and supports the company’s E-Commerce strategy and operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring that Galderma achieves its targeted revenue, profit, and ROI goals for online customers managed directly or indirectly. Will work with internal stakeholders to drive traffic to customer websites, increase sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction utilizing a range of tools and software to manage e-commerce platforms and analytical data.
The Ecommerce Manager represents all brands under the Galderma portfolio and works collaboratively with the cross functional team to drive efficient and profitable sales.
Essential Functions:
· Assigned responsibility is ecommerce class of trade & customer(s).
· E-Commerce customers to include and is not limited emerging E-commerce customer(s), with secondary internal support to Amazon, ,
· Deliver against growth objectives as set by the company with attention given to budgets & profitability.
· Assists as needed with P&L management to include - customer trade spend rates, media and advertising budgets, sales agency revenue forecasting, and personal T&E.
· Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Brand, Media, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Demand Planning) to deliver actionable solutions and consistent messaging and branding across customers online
· Leverages company principles across 4P’s (price, promotion, digital placement, product) to optimize distribution, online content, online promotions, digital merchandising and overall audience engagement and POS
· Utilize data analysis to prepare internal and external presentations that provide fact base recommendations utilizing syndicated data, general market trends, retailer databases, and local market knowledge in conjunction with corporate developed templates.
· Activates and analyze online strategies to improve performance. Leverage metail profitability metrics to drive enhancements to the business.
· Being up to date with trends and innovations in e-commerce, and making recommendations for improvement
· Builds cross-functional relationships both internally and externally to capitalize on business opportunities; works with external agencies to execute strategies, assists in building an ecommerce center of excellence
· Takes personal accountability and ownership for results
· Forecasts sales and communicates internally for production planning as needed
· Manages deductions and/or invoices received from customers for accounting purposes as needed
· Other duties as assigned
