We are seeking a highly motivated and driven architectrual lighting sales manager with three plus year of experience working on driving rapid sales growth for a commercial lighting manufacturer. Must have demonstrated recent experience growing sales for a $20 million plus revenue territory.
We are seeking candidates located within South Florida, Orlando, or Tampa markets of Florida
You will bring minimum of three years of experience as a specification sales rep or a lighting designer working on commercial lighting sales working directly with owners, developers, architects and bringing in projects while managing agents and driving sales through distributors.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Florida market specification professional for a well respected, fast growing $100 million annual revenue commercial/architectrual lighting manufacturer. The sales manager will be responsible for working with specifiers, contractors, distributors, and managing a network of rep agencies across Florida.
This role involves reviewing and understanding project requirements, conducting lunch and learns, attending trade shows, driving sales through story tell and building a narrative by demonstrating the why us vs. them.
Additional tasks include collaborating with project managers, sales teams, and suppliers, as well as preparing and submitting proposals and bids. The sales manager will also stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications- Atleast three year of work experience as a specifications sales rep or a lighting designer for commercial lighting projects
- Experience in cost estimating, budget analysis, and project management
- Knowledge of lighting design, electrical systems, and relevant codes and standards
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Relevant certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field is a plus
This is the ideal role for an outgoing specification sales professional from lighitng industry or a lighting designer who wants to be rewarded for his/her efforts in driving new business. Must have a high degree of urgency and the mindset to operate like an individual startup. This role is not suitable for someone accustomed to a corporate driven environment. Individual sales is the only criteria for success measurement at this company.
Must be willing to travel up to 30% and be able to work in a fast moving environment.
Remote role offering base salary between 130k to 180k DOE plus bonus and comprehensive benefits package including Tuition reimbursement. Fully remote within Florida
