Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Primary Focus:
Outbound Prospecting & New Business Acquisition

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and disciplined Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our new business growth initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry. This role is centered on proactive outreach, with a strong emphasis on high-volume outbound calling to identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients. The ideal candidate demonstrates resilience, professionalism, and a strong commitment to achieving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce the company’s products and services.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities based on established criteria.
  • Engage decision-makers in structured, value-focused conversations to assess needs and potential fit.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all outreach activities within the CRM system.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and nurture early-stage prospects.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline development targets.
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or a similar role is a plus but not required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence in conducting phone-based outreach.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle objections professionally and persist through challenges.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a large volume of daily activities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is an advantage.

  • Achievement of call volume, conversation, and meeting-set targets.
  • Development of a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
