Island Kitchen is South Florida's premier luxury catering company known for delivering elevated hospitality experiences with precision and care. Our In-Flight Catering Division provides fresh, customized, high-end dining for private aviation clients, servicing Southeast & Southwest Florida airports 24/7/365.
As we continue expanding our presence in the South Florida private aviation market, we are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Inflight Catering Sales Manager to grow and lead this division locally.
Position Overview- The Inflight Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, cultivating strategic aviation partnerships, and overseeing seamless execution of inflight catering orders across South Florida.
- This role is heavily relationship-driven and requires an understanding of the private aviation ecosystem — including charter operators, brokers, FBOs, flight departments, and high-net-worth clientele.
- You will sell the Island Kitchen inflight experience while ensuring operational excellence and maintaining the highest service standards.
- Business Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting private aviation operators, charter brokers, FBOs, and flight departments across South Florida
- Proactively generate new business while nurturing existing aviation client relationships
- Conduct in-person meetings, tastings, and presentations to promote Island Kitchen’s premium inflight offerings
- Identify partnership opportunities with luxury brands and aviation service providers
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals
- Serve as primary point of contact for aviation clients
- Ensure all inquiries are responded to within 24 hours with detailed, professional communication
- Customize menus and service offerings to meet specific flight requirements, dietary preferences, and aircraft limitations
- Turn first-time clients into long-term partners
- Foster a cooperative and high-performance work environment
- Support hiring decisions and assess candidate qualifications when expanding the division
- Act as a brand ambassador for Island Kitchen within the South Florida aviation community
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-discipline and initiative
- Confident, polished, and professional demeanor
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- 2+ years of event coordination, hospitality sales, or catering management experience
- 1+ year experience in restaurants, luxury hospitality, or aviation services preferred
- Experience working with private aviation clients strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Basic financial acumen and familiarity with POS or accounting systems
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations in food service
- Competitive commission structure
