Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sales Executive to develop and manage HVAC installation opportunities across commercial markets. This role focuses on building relationships and generating new business within commercial properties such as office buildings, retail centers, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to closing contracts, while working closely with internal teams to deliver successful HVAC solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new commercial HVAC installation opportunities.
- Build relationships with property managers, general contractors, and developers.
- Sell large commercial HVAC projects including rooftop units, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and construction documents.
- Prepare project proposals, estimates, and bid packages.
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sales.
- Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems.
- Experience selling large HVAC systems such as chillers, cooling towers, and high-tonnage equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Experience selling to property managers, contractors, or developers preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
- Base salary plus commission structure.
- Typical earnings for commercial HVAC sales professionals range from $70,000 – $90,000 base plus commission
.
- Field-based role with occasional office presence when not meeting with clients.
- Standard office hours typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM when in office.
