- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin is a plus!
As a Sales Account Executive for one of the leading freight forwarders in the industry, OEC Group will provide you with an opportunity to build your book of business and become more knowledgeable about the shipping/logistics industry.
Base Salary + Uncapped Commission Extra sales benefits include: monthly car allowance, cell phone, laptop and company expense account. Aboutthe Position
Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Travel at least 2 weeks out of the month to assigned Market Outside of Home city. (AL/MS/LA/FL)
- Develop B2B Relationship through cold call & in person visit.
- Prepare and offer logistics service plans.
- Collaborate with Sale Support on maintaining the pricing for the service plan.
- Onboard account and align service expectation.
- Meet at least the Performance or Hustle Goal at any even month (See Key Performance Indicator below).
- Be available to collaborate with team from another time zone.
- Datamine New Prospect to rotate out leads.
- Datamine current account to monitor market share and other growth opportunities.
- Maintain & update the Sale’s CRM.
- Keep pipeline consistent by staying in close contact with prospects (keeping pipeline with under 30 days since last contact).
- Review pipeline routinely with Sale Support.
- Assist the Accounts Team in collecting payment when necessary.
Miami office 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
QualificationsThis position will cover a geographic area surrounding the OEC Group office the candidate has been hired for. The role requires reliable transportation at the time of hire.
- 1+ years of B2B sales or marketing experience
- International or domestic freight forwarding experience is a plus.
$45,000 - $60,000 annually based on education and experience level plus uncapped commission.
