We are offering a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative opportunity targeting experienced industry professionals or those looking to enter the pharmaceutical field, primarily covering Primary Care physicians.
Pharmaceutical Sales Rep Purpose & ScopeAchieve territory sales goals by promoting pharmaceutical products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within the assigned geography. Educate customers on the use, characteristics, advantages, indicated treatments, and all other developments related to promoted products. Professionally represent the company in the field and ensure high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction. Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.

Job Responsibilities
- Effectively promote and educate physicians on the use of our pharmaceutical products through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other approved means.
- Work in the field each week for call planning, customer follow-up, preparing presentations, making appointments, report generation, etc.
- Ensure high performance levels of call and field productivity.
- Meet call plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to all APUS-defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations.
- Execute company-approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers using company-approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities/programs/initiatives as identified by Sales Management.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion alliance partners, managing company equipment and materials in accordance with compliance guidelines.
- Ensure optimum territory sales strategy execution using annual territory business plans, regional business plans, and call activity reports.
- Accurately report and submit sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within the deadlines defined by Astellas or the Regional Sales Manager.
The role requires active pursuit of continuous learning and professional sales development, focusing on effective sales and communication techniques and product/therapeutic area knowledge.

- Reports to a National Sales Manager and a District Sales Manager.
- Manages a territory responsible for several pharmaceutical products.
- Assumes a lead role within primary care and specialty counterpart relationships.
- Balances territory and regional work and projects while maintaining solid sales performance.
- Exhibits strong competency skills and demonstrates sales influence within territory and region.
- Some sales experience or proven sales abilities.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry knowledge.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
