Inside Sales Representative – Lighting/Electrical Wholesale – Lumilum LLC, Miami, FL Job Description
Looking for a highly motivated full time inside salesperson
, ideally with prior experience in the electrical supplies and/or lighting sector. The position calls for aggressively prospecting and developing new relationships within our existing customer base. You need to have the ability to cold call and develop a relationship (B2B). You will be required to make +30 calls/day to our existing customer base. You will also be allocated incoming calls of customers that are ready to buy.
Your commission-based performance will be directly proportionate to your ability to communicate and connect to your customer base, so it is essential that you are comfortable on the phone as a means to convince and sell. A customer that buys once generally buys again – commissions starting with the first sale are yours as long as you maintain the relationship. Many of our customers buy $30-40K per month.
Sales office is located in West Kendall, Miami.
Required Skills and Experience- Drive to perform and close sales.
- Good communication skills.
- Electrical supply sector and/or lighting sales experience (B2C or B2B) – an asset.
- Inside/outside sales experience – an asset.
- Self‑driven attitude.
- People skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Exclusive dedication to our brand and products.
- Comfortable with having outbound calling and sales metrics displayed in sales office.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new sales relationships with additional retail locations within existing accounts, as well as create new accounts by calling on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Assist in submitting orders by quoting and/or referring to price lists and product literature; use Salesforce CRM.
- Resolve customer returns and complaints by investigating the problem, developing solutions such as product returns, exchanges, etc.; make recommendations to management.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
