Job Title: Sales Consultant – Used Vehicles
Reports To: Sales Manager, GSM, COO
Job Status: Full‑time, Exempt
Department: Sales
As a Sales Consultant for Used Vehicles at Bomnin Automotive, you will help customers find the ideal pre‑owned vehicle that meets their needs and budget, guiding them through the sales process and ensuring a positive buying experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement:
- Warmly greet customers as they enter the dealership.
- Establish rapport and actively listen to understand customers' vehicle requirements and preferences.
- Provide detailed information on available used vehicle models, features, and conditions.
- Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle capabilities.
- Address customer questions and concerns effectively.
Sales Process:
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, from vehicle selection to financing options.
- Collaborate with sales managers to negotiate terms and conditions that align with customer and dealership expectations.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Ensure accurate recording of customer information and sales activities in the dealership's customer management system.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their used vehicle purchase.
- Address any post‑sale inquiries or issues professionally and promptly.
- Foster long‑term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the dealership.
- Pursue personal and professional growth by participating in training and development opportunities.
Compliance:
- Adhere to all dealership policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Maintain the highest level of ethics and integrity in all sales interactions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with dealership events, promotions, and initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new developments in used vehicle models.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to enhance sales strategies and processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic sales environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
- Extended periods of standing and walking.
- Occasional lifting of promotional materials or vehicle feature displays.
Work Environment:
- Primarily works within the showroom and dealership lot, interacting with customers and colleagues.
Other Duties:
Other duties may be assigned as needed by the Sales Manager, GSM, or COO.
