About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (
SDR
) at Ecomma
, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying potential investors for our e-commerce portfolios. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting outreach via email, phone calls, and social media, managing leads within a CRM system, and collaborating closely with the sales team to convert prospects into clients. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Miami, FL, where collaboration and teamwork are integral to driving success in our sales initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential prospects that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Reach out to cold and warm leads through calls, emails, and Linked In outreach to generate interest and start conversations.
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their business, goals, pain points, and decision-making process.
  • Book discovery calls and sales meetings for the Account Executives or sales team.
  • Manage and maintain accurate prospect data, outreach activity, and pipeline updates in our CRM (Hub Spot).
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to keep conversations moving and nurture opportunities over time.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to improve outreach messaging, targeting, and lead quality.
  • Act as the first point of contact between potential clients and the company, creating a strong and professional first impression.
  • Track outreach performance and help optimize strategies based on real conversations and feedback from prospects.
  • Collaborate with fellow SDRs and BDR to share best practices and optimize outreach strategies.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1+ years experience in Inside Sales and Lead Generation — ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced role.
  • Strong, clear English communication skills — both spoken and written.
  • High emotional intelligence — able to build trust quickly and professionally over the phone or via message.
  • Someone who’s confident asking questions and leading conversations.
  • Comfortable working with a CRM and taking ownership of lead follow-up and pipeline hygiene.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce or online business is a big plus (but not required).
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets
  • Self-driven, hungry, and excited by the idea of helping entrepreneurs and investors buy or build successful e-commerce businesses.
