Position: Sales Manager – Miami, FL (Smoke Shop Industry)

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop, and scale our sales organization. This individual will be responsible for managing the current sales team, improving performance through coaching and accountability, recruiting and developing new sales talent, and driving overall revenue growth.

This role reports directly to the Owner and will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company's sales strategy, culture, and execution.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can balance strategy with execution, motivate teams to exceed goals, and build systems that support sustainable growth.

Miami, FL (In Office)

Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Manage, coach, and develop the existing sales team
  • Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability measures
  • Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, performance reviews, and team training sessions
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses within the sales organization and implement improvement plans
  • Foster a high‑performance sales culture focused on growth, professionalism, and results
Team Growth & Recruiting
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new sales representatives
  • Build and scale the sales team as the company continues to grow
  • Develop training programs and sales processes that improve productivity and consistency
  • Create career development opportunities for top‑performing team members
Sales Performance & Strategy
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales management and execution
  • Monitor sales activity, pipeline health, forecasting, and conversion metrics
  • Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, territory planning, and growth initiatives
  • Analyze sales data and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure CRM utilization and accurate sales reporting across the team
Events & Brand Representation
  • Coordinate and oversee company participation in trade shows, industry events, and customer‑facing activations
  • Support event planning, sales team attendance, lead generation efforts, and post‑event follow‑up
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events when needed
Reporting & Communication
  • Report directly to the Owner on sales performance, opportunities, challenges, and team development
  • Provide regular reporting on revenue, forecasts, pipeline activity, and KPI performance
  • Work cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to support company objectives
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience with at least 2+ years managing sales teams
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading successful sales organizations
  • Experience hiring, training, and developing sales professionals
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive and motivating culture
  • Self‑starter with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
Preferred
  • Experience in CPG, wholesale, distribution, retail, or regulated‑product industries
  • Experience managing multi‑state or regional sales teams
  • Trade show and event management experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $80,000 – 120,000 annually, including a percentage of gross profit generated by the team, plus performance‑based bonuses
  • Incentives such as company trips, car allowance, and performance awards may also be available
  • Additional commission and/or performance bonus opportunities based on experience and results
