Your TeamGlobal Markets – Equities Sales (South Florida Institutional Coverage) team in Miami. The team operates in a lean, fast‑moving model and directs its efforts toward the local institutional client landscape, partnering closely with research, trading, corporate access, and senior stakeholders to deliver differentiated ideas and access.
Your RoleInstitutional Equity Sales Coverage responsibilities include:
- Provide day‑to‑day equities and research sales coverage for South Florida institutional clients, staying close to each client’s investment process and priorities.
- Translate UBS research, market moves, and actionable themes into timely, high‑conviction client dialogue and trade ideas.
- Coordinate access to UBS analysts, strategists, economists, and corporate partners to deliver the right expertise at the right time.
- Deepen relationships with priority accounts and grow share of client activity through consistent coverage, disciplined follow‑up, and high service standards.
- Execute a high‑touch, in‑person coverage cadence across the region, including frequent client meetings, support for visits/events, and strong internal coordination across Global Markets.
- Ideally 2–5 years of experience in institutional equities sales, institutional client coverage, or a closely related markets role.
- Strong understanding of equity markets and institutional investor workflows; ability to convert research into clear, actionable client conversations.
- Proven relationship‑management skills, including thoughtful outreach, meeting discipline, and reliable follow‑through.
- High organization and responsiveness; able to manage multiple client priorities and internal stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Collaborative approach and effective coordination across research, trading, corporate access, and broader platform partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to tailor messaging by client type and seniority level.
- Comfort operating in a predominantly in‑person, client‑facing role with frequent regional travel.
- Ability to meet applicable regulatory and firm requirements, including required registrations where relevant.
