The Oncology Territory Account Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position is responsible for engaging oncology healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to promote Novartis Oncology therapies, support appropriate usage, and drive access to treatments within the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include conducting in-person sales calls, delivering product and disease education, coordinating with account management and market access colleagues, and executing territory business plans.
The Specialist monitors local market dynamics, identifies opportunities to improve patient access, and maintains accurate records of interactions and outcomes using approved tools and systems. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, adhering to all compliance, ethical, and community guidelines, and representing Novartis with professionalism and integrity.
- Demonstrated oncology or pharmaceutical sales expertise, including territory management and account planning skills.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills for engaging healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and use insights to inform strategic actions in the territory.
- Solid understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new scientific information.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, digital platforms, and standard office software to document activities and manage territory operations.
- Proven ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in healthcare or business is a plus.
- Previous experience in oncology, specialty pharmaceuticals, or healthcare account management is preferred.
