Director of Brand Partnerships

THE ROLE

attn Capital runs performance advertising campaigns for advertisers through editorial publisher handles, and we are scaling aggressively. The Director of Brand Partnerships is a pure hunter: your job is to identify, pursue, and close the highest-caliber advertisers in the market.

This is an individual-contributor role built for someone who is energized by the chase. You will own the full arc from cold identification to signed partnership: sourcing prospects, opening doors, building conviction, and closing advertisers whose scale and ambition match ours. You are measured by the quality and size of the partnerships you land.

• Sourcing the right accounts. Independently identify and research high-value advertiser targets; the brands and buyers with the budget, intent, and growth trajectory to become marquee partners.
• Hunting. Build outbound sequences and warm pathways into decision-makers. You are comfortable opening cold, working referrals, and creating access where none exists.
• Owning the full cycle. Run discovery, articulate the attn Capital value proposition against a prospect's specific goals, navigate procurement and internal stakeholders, and close.
• Landing and expanding. Structure partnerships that are ambitious from day one and built to expand. You think in terms of long-term account value, not one-off wins.
• Bringing the market back. Feed market intelligence back to leadership such as what top advertisers want, where the objections are, and how our offer should sharpen.

• A proven closer with a track record of sourcing and signing large, sophisticated advertisers or brand partners, ideally in digital advertising, media, or performance marketing.
• Genuinely a hunter. You are at your best generating your own pipeline and are undeterred by cold starts, long cycles, and senior gatekeepers.
• Fluent in how large advertisers think about spend, performance, and risk. You should be credible in the room with senior marketing and growth leaders.
• Disciplined and self-directed. You operate without hand-holding, manage your own pipeline rigorously, and hold yourself to outcomes.
• Comfortable in a fast-scaling environment where the playbook is still being written and you are expected to help write it.

Competitive base + performance-based bonus tied to the partnerships you close.
