Role Description This full-time, on-site Account Manager role is based at Global Tek Equipment’s headquarters in Miami, FL. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, orders, and ongoing support. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding customer requirements, preparing quotes, and coordinating with internal teams such as engineering, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and implementation of projects.
The role also involves monitoring account performance, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling equipment solutions, and resolving any service or quality issues in a proactive, professional manner. The Account Manager will contribute to sales forecasting, participate in client meetings and facility tours, and maintain accurate documentation within CRM and other internal systems.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated client relationship management skills, including account servicing, issue resolution, and customer retention.
- Experience in sales or account management within manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related technical sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information in clear, accessible terms.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities.
- Comfort working closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, logistics) to support project delivery.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL and engage with clients through meetings, facility visits, and occasional travel as needed.
- Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in a family-owned or small to mid-sized business environment is a plus, along with bilingual skills (English/Spanish) beneficial for serving diverse clients.
