Sales Coordinator – Marriott-Branded Hotel

Location:

Miami, Florida Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $21.00 per hour

We are seeking an organized, professional, and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to support the hotel’s sales efforts. This position assists the sales team with administrative duties, client communication, group bookings, proposals, contracts, and event coordination.

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales and hotel sales team.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, group resumes, and correspondence.
  • Enter and maintain accurate group, corporate, and account information in the hotel’s systems.
  • Assist with coordinating group room blocks, meetings, site inspections, and special events.
  • Communicate event and group details to the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and other hotel departments.
  • Track contracts, deposits, rooming lists, cutoff dates, and other important deadlines.
  • Maintain organized sales files, reports, calendars, and client databases.
  • Assist with prospecting, sales calls, follow-up communications, and promotional activities.
  • Provide excellent service to clients before, during, and after their stay or event.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.
Qualifications
  • Previous hotel, hospitality, sales, reservations, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer-service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related office applications.
  • Experience with Marriott systems or hotel sales software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different hotel departments.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Schedule

This is a full-time position. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on business and event needs.
