Business Development Manager

Food Talent Solutions has partnered with an established global food manufacturer seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its presence throughout the U.S. market.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for a proven hunter who enjoys opening doors, developing new markets, and building customer relationships from the ground up. The company has significant international scale, company-owned manufacturing, and a strong existing position within tropical fruit ingredients and finished food products.

Key Role Information

• Develop new business throughout the U.S. food and beverage market
• Target major food manufacturers, consumer brands, retailers, distributors, and co-manufacturing partners
• Build new accounts while expanding selected existing relationships
• Sell across bulk ingredients, private label, retail, and value-added food products
• Partner closely with production, supply chain, logistics, finance, and international operations
• Individual-contributor position with approximately 15% travel
• Fully onsite in Miami, Florida

Target Background

• Demonstrated success opening new accounts and generating business within the U.S. food and beverage industry
• Established relationships with major manufacturers, brands, retailers, or distributors
• Experience with food ingredients, private label, co-manufacturing, frozen foods, fruit products, or related categories
• Entrepreneurial and resourceful approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a growing, hands-on organization
• Spanish fluency or strong professional proficiency
